Novocoatings is the exclusive applicator of Novotherm 130H, a coating specifically developed for finned coolers operating in harsh conditions. Novotherm 130H has been tested and proven resistant to a wide range of chemical and corrosive vapors (at high temperatures), formaldehyde, sulfuric acid, saline (marine) air, and more. This phenolic heat-cured coating is applied using the flow-coating method, ensuring an even coating across the entire surface area of the fins, right into the core of the cooling block. Since the cross-linking effect in this coating system occurs even at low film thicknesses, thermal loss is virtually negligible. Novotherm 130H is getest en bestand tegen een grote variëteit aan chemische en corrosieve dampen (hoge temp), formaldehyde, zwavelzuur, zoute (zee)lucht etc. De phenol inbrand coating wordt aangebracht middels de overvloei methode waardoor alle lamellen over het gehele oppervlak egaal gecoat worden, tot in de kern van het koelblok. Daar het cross link effect bij dit coatsysteem al plaatsvindt bij een geringe laagdikte, is het thermisch verlies nagenoeg te verwaarlozen.
